The Finnegan’s 1st Annual Winter SnowDown is what is created when a community driven, forward thinking company combines forces with an innovative and creative event firm. This event, in its first year, is geared up to provide professionals from the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area an outlet for fun unlike anything else that has been thought of before!
Finnegan’s Irish Amber and Apex Endeavors, Inc. are proud to present a weekend of winter fun and partying for a cause. During February 23-25, 2007 we will be making a run to the iron range, more specifically Biwabik, Minnesota, the home of Giants Ridge Ski Resort.

While there, participants will have 5 packages to choose from including Alpine Skiing, X-Country Skiing, Snowshoeing, Snowmobiling and a Day Spa Package. With many different options to create a great weekend, we hope to see people from all walks of life out to raise money for a cause!
The event begins on Friday with a chartered transfer to Giants Ridge where we will be serving lunch and complimentary Finnegan’s Irish Amber. On the bus ride up we will be offering Karaoke, tantalizing trivia and an all around good time on the bus. Once arriving all participants are invited to the Lodge Bar for a “Welcome Party” and chance to stretch your legs out in the bar! That night we will also be featuring the 1st annual Hill Party with special guest band, “Big Woody” playing that night!
On Saturday all participants will be enjoying their chosen packages with a happy hour in the Lodge Bar during the afternoon. Saturday night will also feature the highly anticipated “Biwabik Bash” theme party! Buses will leave from the Lodge to the sleepy resort town of Biwabik for a night of fun, prizes, drink specials, music and a night the residents of Biwabik will never forget. The Biwabik Bash will feature an 80’s ski theme with participants encouraged to dress in their best 80’s interpretation influenced by all the great ski movies and culture…..who knows, maybe someone will go for a dead-on Glenn Plake outfit!
Sunday will feature a half day of chosen activities and lunch served before buses leave to return to the Twin Cities. Participants can expect to be back at the rally point by 6:00 pm at the latest.
