Dear Friends of Finegans,
We would like to thank everyone for all of your support of Finnegans this summer! Whether you helped out with supporting our Finnegans Summerfest event or whether you purchased some Finnegans - your support is making a difference!! Finnegans sales are up 59 percent YTD, our largest growth since we started the company in September 2000!!!!! THANK YOU!!! We would also like to thank the Minneapolis Jaycees for their support in our Finnegans Summerfest event!!
We are also having a banner donation year - Last week we presented a $5,000 check to Heading Home Hennepin, to support their efforts to establish a shelter for homeless youth in the Twin Cities. The Finnegans Community Fund also donated $7,000 in grants to 6 Minnesota non profits; Casa Guadalupana, Youth Express, Hired, Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, Plymouth Church Foundation and Youth Care. We also made a $2,000 donation to Heading Home Ramsey, the Ramsey County initiative to end homelessness. These donations were made possible from profits from our Finnegans Summerfest event, beer sales and private donations from our supporters!!!! Together we are making a difference for those in need in our community!
We continue to need your support! Finnegans will again be at the Irish Fair August 10 – 12th, beer sampling and selling merchandise and we need volunteers! Please contact Maggie, our Finnegans Volunteer Coordinator at magindy74@yahoo.com to sign up to volunteer.
Finnegans has donated $92,000 back to the community since first being profitable in 2003. Our goal is to hit the $100,000 mark by the end of 2007! You can help! Please continue to purchase Finnegans and to ask for Finnegans at bars, restaurants and liquor stores throughout Minnesota. Even if they don’t currently carry our product if you ask for Finnegans it helps us to get placements!! Also, please keep us in mind for end of year donations as well. It takes a village and together we can help create healthy communities one pint at a time!
